Accomodation options
 
The registration fee does not cover accomodation. You may choose from the options below one that suits your needs (and your wallet) the most:
  • Trawinski Hotel, the venue of WfMC Forum Poland. You can book a room by calling the reception (+48 61 827 58 00), writing an e-mail to (office@hoteltrawinski.com.pl) or do it via hotel web site. The reception clerk will ask you for your credit card number.
    Use "WFMC" promotion code to get special price: 240 PLN ~ 65 EURO (single room with breakfast), 80 (double room with breakfast).
  • Mercure Hotel, the venue of CEE-SET, KKIO and PhD Symposium. You can reserve a room by calling the reception (+48 61 855 8000) or writing an e-mail (mer.poznan@orbis.pl). The reception clerk will ask you for your credit card number.
    Making reservation before September 7 (password: "CEE-SET Conference") will result in special price: 82 EURO (single room with breakfast), 92 (double room with breakfast).
 
Arrival
 
By plane - you arrive at Port Lotniczy Ławica (http://www.airport-poznan.com.pl/en/). A complete flight schedule can be found here ...

By train - you arrive at Poznań main terminal. Poznań is located about half-way between Berlin and Warsaw and can be reached by train from either city.

By car - Poznań is a city located in western Poland, about half-way between Berlin and Warsaw.

From the airport:

TAXI
  • waiting at the airport are served by the 919 company (you may still call another company though).
  • You can also choose to call "Radio Taxi", for example 919, 9667, 9664, 8219219 or 8519519.
  • The fare for a ride from the airport to Trawinski Hotel should be about 35 PLN (approx. 8-9 Euros). After 10 PM (22:00) you should expect to pay twice the amount.

Public transportation
  • Take bus 78 for 14 stops to "Most Teatralny", then take tramway 4 (direction "Polabska") or 10 (direction "Polabska"), and go 4 stops to "Zniwna". Turn right into Zniwna street, you will see the hotel on your left. You will need the one hour ticket for the whole ride. Buy it at a news stand - kiosk and remember to validate it aboard the bus - it will remain valid for the tramway ride. The half hour ticket costs 2,60 zl, the one hour - 3,90 zl; luggage fee (if the size exceeds 25 x 45 x 65 cm): 2,60 zl for 0,5h and 3,90 zl for 1h.

From the railway station:

Walk 100m up the bridge to the tramway stop "Most Dworcowy " and take line number 10, direction "Polabska", for 6 stops. Get off at the stop "Zniwna". Turn right into Zniwna street, you will see the hotel on your left. You will need the half hour ticket. Buy it at a news stand - kiosk and remember to validate it aboard.

Conference materials will be distributed during registration on the day the conference begins.

Collocation
 
The conference is followed by 2nd international IFIP conference CEE-SET 2007 in Poznan at October 10-12th.
